Invitations and opportunities 

An invitation has been received from the organisers of The Greatest Race on Earth (GROE) for Australia to enter a team of 4 in this event.

The GROE is a series of 4 challenging marathons in 4 exotic cities with excellent prize money on offer. The dates for the GROE are as follows:

Nairobi – Sunday 26 October 2008

Singapore – Sunday 7 December 2008

Mumbai – Sunday 18 January 2009

Hong Kong – Sunday 8 February 2009

The winning nation will have the lowest cumulative time over the 4 races.

The prize money on offer in the Australian division is as follows:

1^st – US$60,000

2^nd – US$25,000

3^rd – US$10,000

We have been invited to submit one team for this event. The preference of the organisers is for us to submit a women’s team. If we cannot fill a women’s team, the organisers will accept a men’s team.

Please include with your expression of interest your preference of marathon ranked from1 – 4.
