Throws camp set for May
Athletics Australia will host the 2007 national throws camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from May 18-20.
The camp will comprise specific lecture, workshop and practical sessions for all the throws disciplines. A preliminary program is included below with presenters to include Peter Lawler, Gus Puopolo, Sean Carlin and Denis Knowles.
The major feature of the camp will be throws coaches presenting, talking and sharing with other throws Coaches.
Camp costs: $170.00 (includes, accommodation, meals and all facility costs only).

• Technical models for performance. Invited coach to present the technical model including the skill components, drills and fault corrections for each of the throws. Discussion to be encouraged. Video analysis of athletes to be used.
