The club is very strong in distance running although it caters for all distances summer and winter. It is also very well represented in Masters categories with a very even gender balance. The club has strong links with the Little Eagles Little Athletics Club which shares its facilities and both are working together to provide transition pathways from junior to senior athletics.

Alice Springs Athletics is a friendly club that caters from U6 to Open and Masters. Athletes, officials, and volunteers are all welcomed to come along and be part of our Club. Our season culminates with the Northern Territory Athletic Championships which are held the first weekend in September. Training is thursdays from 5.00-6.00pm. We have qualified coaches and are looking at running some Coaching and Officials Courses for anyone interested in improving their knowledge. Competition is held on Sundays from 9.00-11.30am and runs from April to September.

Club Details

Athletics Chilwell has had a proud history since it was formed by a local school teacher in 1966. Members first competed for the club in the Geelong Little Athletics Centre's competition at Landy Field in October 1966.
