On the evening of Thursday, November 8, the University of Queensland Athletics Centre and the Milers Club will stage the Bank of Queensland 1500m Classic.
This is a meet featuring a series of 1500 metre races. The program begins with races for primary school aged athletes, but then have races for secondary school age group, open age group and culminate with the ABN Amro Morgans elite women’s event and the Simon Doyle elite men’s event.
The elite men and women will be competing for a prize pool of $1000 for each category and there will be prize-money or product prizes for the other divisions. Entries can be done online or by submitting an entry form, as attached.
The program also includes an invitation 800 metres for men. Anyone wishing to run this event should contact Tom Brandt on (07) 3365 6055.
Entries close on November 6.
