Sydney Track Classic - National Series Meet

Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre, NSW

The Sydney Track Classic will be one of the highlights of the track and field season. Australia’s best athletes will face fierce competition as they strive to record personal bests in the lead up to state and national championships.

The meet will be held under lights and will see a fast, free flowing format, which will include live music and crowd interaction.

Athletics fans 18 years and over will be able to soak up the atmosphere with a glass of wine or a schooner of beer, while watching the athletics action from trackside and enjoying the social interaction of the Athletics NSW ‘Garden Party’.

As well as seeing some of Australia’s best athletes compete, aspiring junior athletes will be able to attend a free development clinic conducted by Athletics NSW and Little Athletics NSW. The clinic will allow the junior athletes to receive tips from many of Australia’s top athletes.

Support from major sponsor Sydney Olympic Park will ensure The Sydney Track Classic will be the biggest and best yet.

1500m (Men)
110m Hurdles (Men* & Women*)
2x100 relays (Men & Women)
300m Handicap (conducted by NSWAL)
High Jump (Women*)
Discus (Women*)
* AA National Series Event

Prize money, kindly donated by Athletics NSW and Sydney Olympic Park, will be on offer to the best performers of the evening.
