Coach of Merit scheme for 2007 opened

Athletics Australia is pleased to announce the application process for the 2007 Coach of Merit scheme.

Successful applicants will receive an Athletics Australia Coach of Merit grant of $10,000AUD.

The Coach of Merit scheme recognises coaches who in 2007 have achieved outstanding success in international competition and have made a significant contribution to the development of Australian athletics coaches.

In 2006 the recipients were Gary Bourne, Nic Bideau, Bruce Scriven, Max Cherry and Gus Puopolo (pictured).  

Applications in writing will address the selection criteria and acknowledge the achievements of the coach for the calendar year.
