The policies for the 23rd IAAF World Race Walking Cup (Cheboksary, Russia - May 10-11) and 12th IAAF World Junior Championships (Bydgoszcz, Poland - July 8-13) indicate that these confirmations would occur the week commencing Monday, March 17, 2008.
However, the shortened week has made it difficult to accommodate the process of selection and approvals, meaning the respective teams will be announced early next week.
Athletics Australia extends its best wishes to all for a safe Easter break.
