Paralympic nomination ruling

As a result of a request for reconsideration by Ben Hall of the decision not to nominate him to the Australian Paralympic Committee (APC) for inclusion in Australia’s team for the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games the Athletics Australia Paralympic Preparation Program (AA-PPP) nominating panel has withdrawn their support for the nomination of Neil Fuller solely as a relay runner and subsequently nominated Ben Hall for the vacated position for the T37 100m and 200m events.

Ben is based in Adelaide and is coached by Stephen Butler.  Ben is a SASI scholarship holder and has represented Australia previously at the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games and 2006 Assen IPC World Athletics Championships.

The athlete nominated to fill the vacated position should be considered a 'new' nomination and as a result is appealable in accord with Athletics Australia’s By-Laws.
