Australian Combined Events Championships

Domain Athletics Track, Hobart

Entries to the Australian Combined Events Championships are now open.

Athletes competing in Combined events have increased markedly over recent years, so much so Athletics Australia are staging a full complement of age groups at Australian Combined Events Championships to be held at the Domain Athletic Centre, Hobart on Saturday 13th February and Sunday 14th February 2010.

The following age groups will be represented in the 2010 Combined Events Championships:

Under 15 Combined Event
Under 16 Combined Event
Under 17 Combined Event
Under 18 Combined Event
Under 20 Combined Event (Entry Standards must be obtained - click here for standards list.)
Open Heptathlon / Decathlon (Entry Standards must be obtained - click here for standards list.)

Athletes who are eligible for U23 must enter the Open category but need only obtain the U23 entry standard.
Medals for the top 3 U23 athletes will be awarded at these championships.

Decathletes Please Note:
Europcar are to act as a ‘holding area’ for the combined event pole vault poles for the Australian Combined Events.
Poles can be dropped off at the Europcar depot at the Hobart Airport between 0700 and 1800 daily.

Poles will need to be there by lunchtime Friday, for guaranteed delivery to the Domain.
