Go for 2&5 88th Australian Athletics Championships and Commonwealth Games selection trials

Perth

The Go for 2&5 88th Australian Athletics Championships and Commonwealth Games selection trials will incorporate the Australian open and AWD championships.

The meet will act as the selection trials for the team to compete at this year’s Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India in October; as such, all Australian athletes will be determined to perform to the best of their ability and book their ticket to Delhi.

The 88th Australian Athletics Championships will be held from Friday, April 16 to Sunday, April 18 inclusive at the all-new Western Australian Athletics Track, Stephenson Ave, Mt Claremont (near Challenge Stadium). A feature session will start at approximately 6pm on the Saturday night showcasing non-stop finals action. For the full program of events, see the link below.

For 2010, all eligible athletes (including U23) will compete in the open age group. However, athletes who are under 23 on the 31st December 2010 will need only to achieve the U23 qualifying standards to enter. All qualifying standards can be found here.

The Go for 2&5 88th Australian Athletic Championships and Commonwealth Games selection trials will score the AWD events with percentage of World Record.
