See the hottest stars of Australian track and field battle with international challengers on a blistering February night at Sydney Olympic Park.

Sydney’s own world discus champion Dani Samuels will send her opponents into a spin as she shows the talent that made her the youngest world discus champion ever.

On the track men’s world championships 4x400m bronze medallists Sean Wroe, John Steffensen, Ben Offereins and Joel Milburn will fight Olympic bronze medallist David Neville of the USA for supremacy over one hot lap, with Kenyan 800m star David Rudisha also testing Australia’s depth in the one-lap event.

The men’s 1500m featuring Collis Birmingham, Jeremy Roff and Ryan Gregson promises to be a huge race and Madeleine Pape, Tamsyn Lewis and Eloise Wellings will sizzle on a night of nights for Australian athletics.  

All athletes wishing to be considered for selection in one or more of the Grand Prix meets should complete the online nomination form before the relevant closing date(s).

The events to be conducted in Sydney are listed below:

Men: 100 metres, 200 metres, 400 metres, 1500 metres, 110m hurdles, 3000m steeplechase, pole vault,  long jump, shot put, discus, javelin, 5000m walk, 4x100m

Women: 100 metres, 200 metres, 800 metres, 1500 metres, 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, high jump, pole vault, long jump, triple jump, discus throw, shot put,  5000m walk, 4x100m
