Damien has been on an AIS scholarship since
1994. He was awarded an OAM in 1996 after his win in the
Paralympics discus in Atlanta. He recovered well from knee surgery
to compete in the Athens 2004 Paralympics.
Damien likes dance music and watching rugby union and admits to
drinking too much coffee. He dislikes mushrooms.
