Lauren made the semi-final at the IAAF world championships last year in the 400m hurdles.
She will make her Olympic debut in London, and has aspirations of going one better and making the 400m hurdles final

Lauren started Little Athletics at five years of age.
She has won several awards including ACT Sports Star of the Year – Junior Athlete and the Pierre de Coubertin Award in 2004.
Her coach Matt Beckenham competed in the 400m hurdles at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.
