Eureka Climb '09
Southbank, Melbourne
The
Eureka Climb is an event for people of all
ages and levels of fitness to walk, run/climb your way to the top
of the world's tallest residential tower and raise money for
disadvantaged young people at home and abroad for our charity
partners: Whitelion and Interplast Australia and New Zealand.
The event is to be held
Sunday 22 November 2009
and includes both
individual and team entries (4
people per team). It will provide a fun filled day for all involved
with lots of fun and activities to be held in the Southbank
precinct at the foot of the Eureka Tower.
Participants will be able to select their preferred climb/walk
start time when registering for the event. Times will be allocated
into 15mins waves.
The Eureka Climb is a charity event which includes an
entry fee and a minimum fundraising pledge.
The Eureka climb includes 1958 stairs, 89 levels and 300m of
vertical elevation and it will be one of the highest ”vertical”
races in the southern hemisphere, it has more stairs than the
Empire State Building.

Eureka Climb 09.
