AUSTRALIAN ATHLETICS TOUR: PERTH TRACK CLASSIC

MEET INFORMATION:

Date: Saturday, February 11 2012

Location: Western Australian Athletics Stadium (Perth, WA)

Did you know a goal post at Subiaco Stadium stands 6m tall and that Olympic champion Steve Hooker can pole vault 6.06m?

Did you know that the last time someone hurdled as fast as World Athlete of the Year Sally Pearson, Justin Bieber wasn’t even born, let alone singing?

Did you know the width of four F1 cars is 7.2m, while world championship silver medallist Mitchell Watt can jump 8.54m?

Did you know that the world of track and field will be returning to WA Athletics Stadium?

That’s right, you can Experience Amazing at the Perth Track Classic when the 2012 Australian Athletics Tour rolls into town.

In an Olympic year, competition will be intense as Australia's best athletes do battle against each other and some of the biggest names on the planet. The road to London continues in Perth on Saturday 11 February. The question is, will you be there?
