Nominations called for Athletics Australia General Committees
In accordance with the Athletics Australia By-Laws, the Athletics Australia Board appoints General Committees.
Applications are hereby called for from persons with the requisite experience, enthusiasm and commitment to be considered by the Athletics Australia Board for appointment to the available committees.
The committees of Athletics Australia will operate in the 2008-2012 quadrennial are:
- Coaching Advisory Committee
- Facilities and Equipment Advisory Committee
- Officials Advisory Committee
- Track and Field Advisory Committee
- International Tours Advisory Committee
- Distance Running and Walking Advisory Committee
The composition of the Selection Committee, Athletes Commission and Special Awards Committee is separately determined by specific constituents and are therefore not open for nominations.
Athletics Australia wishes to receive expressions of interest from persons wishing to be considered for appointment to the remaining Committees and Tribunals.
Applications should be submitted on the form, setting out the relevant background, experience and involvement in athletics of the applicant should be forwarded, marked Confidential, to:
