J.L.L.C: Samuels to headline Sydney
Enticing you away from your desk and that hastily prepared sandwich, the John Landy Lunch Club returns in 2010 with this year's event confirmed for Sydney on Thursday, February 25.
Coinciding with the Sydney leg of the Australian Athletics Tour on Saturday, February 27, the lunch offers both the ideal opportunity to entertain your most valued clients in a relaxed and social atmosphere and a chance to catch up with old friends from within the athletics fraternity.
Discus world champion Dani Samuels will headline this year's lunch, recalling her path to glory at the Berlin World Championships in August, 2009.
An Australian champion over three consecutive years in the lead-up to her Berlin success, Samuels is the youngest ever discus world champion and one of Australia’s hottest prospects looking ahead to the Delhi Commonwealth Games and on to the London Olympics.
To be held in the shadows of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, details of the lunch are as follows:
