To coincide with the launch of iCoach last month, Athletics Australia today present the all-new Coaching e-Brochure.
Designed to easily define Athletics Australia’s Coaching Accreditation Framework, the e-Brochure, which is available for download here, contains all relevant information about the current set of coaching accreditation programs available to those interested in getting involved or further developing their skill set.
The e-Brochure is the first of its kind for track and field. A digital catalogue, it incorporates video with written and downloadable content that fully explains the Athletics Australia Coaching Accreditation Framework.
Jill Taylor, Athletics Australia’s newly appointed Coaching Development Manager, said: “The coaching framework of Athletics Australia provides so many options for ongoing skill development for coaches across Australia and the e-Brochure attempts to highlight the pathways available.
“It is our hope that through understanding what steps they can take, coaches will continue to take part in programs that improve their knowledge and ability, further enhancing the already enviable reputation of Australian coaches domestically and overseas.”
The e-Brochure has been compiled in conjunction with many coaches from around the country and features Sharon Hannan, the coach of world champion Sally Pearson, and the director of one of Australia's most successful coaching small businesses, Sports Credentials.
The e-brochure can be found here and is designed to share electronically with anyone who is interested in finding out information about how to coach track and field in Australia.
