2009 Australia Cup Invitation Events - IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ATHLETES & COACHES


For 2009, the Australia Cup will have both team events and invitational events. The invitational events will be:

Men: 110 metres Hurdles, 5000 metres Walk, Shot Put, Discus Throw
Women: 800 metres, 5000 metre walk, 100 metres Hurdles, Pole Vault

Athletes wishing to be considered for selection in these invitational events should enter direct with Athletics Australia via the online entry system. To enter, click here.

Prize money will be offered in the Invitational events, in the following structure:

$700 for the Winner
$200 for second place
$100 for third place

Entry into these events have been extended to Monday 2nd February

Athletes in the team events will be selected by their State Associations and should not enter direct with Athletics Australia.
