Graeme Briggs Memorial Track Classic Prize Money

For the 2009 Athletics Australia and Athletics Tasmania are proud to announce athletes will be competing for $25,000 in prize money.

Prize money:

9 Gold events: $800 per event - $500 first, $200 Second, $100 third

Men: 200m*, 1500m, 5000m, 400m Hurdles, Triple Jump
Women: 200m*, 1500m, High Jump, Hammer Throw

10 Silver Events: $500 per event - $ 350 first, $100 second, $50 third

Men: 100m*, 800m, High Jump, Shot Put, Discuss Throw
Women: 100m*, 800m, 400m Hurdles, Triple Jump, Shot Put

4 X 100m Relays:  $800 to each winning team

Bonuses:            The top 5 performances $1,500 each#
                        The next 4 top performances $1000 each#

# Top performances will be based on the 2008 IAAF Top Lists. In field events only one performance (the best) per athlete will eligible for a Bonus.

*Where there is more than one race for an event, performances will be combined to determine prize money.
