The responsibilities of the Athletics Australia Anti-Doping Commission are to:
1. Ensure all appropriate provisions of the Athletics Australia Anti-Doping By-Law and IAAF rules and procedures are applied and enforced where applicable.
2. Review and monitor applicable anti-doping policies and guidelines and report on any developments as appropriate.
3. Develop new, or expand existing policies and guidelines for consideration of the Athletics Australia Board, in relation to significant developments in domestic and/or international anti-doping rules and procedures.
4. Provide information in relation to Athletics Australia anti-doping activities and programs in a timely and effective manner.
5. Consult with and assist relevant Athletics Australia departments in the implementation of appropriate anti-doping initiatives and strategies.
6. Provide ongoing education to ensure that athletes and coaches have adequate knowledge and understanding of the latest applicable anti-doping rules and policies.
7. Continue to strengthen and build relations with Athletics Australia stakeholders in relation to anti-doping matters.
8. Refer for proper hearing, all infringements of the Athletics Australia Anti-Doping By-Law and IAAF rules and procedures concerning doping.
9. In the provision of the responsibilities, commission members will have one face-to-face meeting per year and communicate via email and phone as developments arise.
10. Provide a yearly report to Athletics Australia summarising the activities undertaken by the Anti-Doping Commission.
