Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions is invalid.
2. Athletics Australia of Suite 22, 431 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, ABN No. 35 857 196 080, is the promoter of this competition.
3. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees and their immediate families of Athletics Australia, Athletics Australia's associated members and agencies are ineligible to enter.
4. To enter, participants must subscribe to The Fitness Show podcast within the promotional period by visiting www.athletics.com.au or through collateral produced by Sports and Entertainment Group.
Participants will then be required to correctly answer the question 'Who is the host of The Fitness Show?' to be entered into the prize draw and be eligible to win an Asics pack valued at $312.
5. The Promotion commences at 3pm AEST on May 11, 2007 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on June 3, 2007 ('promotion period').
6. Athletics Australia reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions
7. One entrant will win an Asics prize pack consisting of one back pack value $50, one t-shirt value $30, one cap value $20, one drink bottle value $7, one pair of socks value $5 and one shoe voucher value $200.
The total maximum value of the prize is $312.
8. All entrants will be allocated a unique number when they correctly fill in their details and prize winners will be selected by a computer generated random number selector.
9. The draw will take place at 4pm AEST on Monday, June 4, 2007 at Level 1, Suite 22/431 St Kilda Rd Melbourne 3004. All entries received up until 11.59pm AEST on Sunday, June 3 are eligible for entry into that draw. The winner will be notified by email within two days of the draw to the email address provided upon entering the promotion with his/her name also published to athletics.com.au
10. Athletics Australia reserves the right to redraw in the event of any entrant being unable to satisfy these competition conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. If the prize remains unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, Athletics Australia will conduct a further draw, as required.
11. The prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
12. Prize value is correct at time of printing and no responsibility is accepted for any subsequent change in content or value.
13. Athletics Australia is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
14. Athletics Australia's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent/guardian on their behalf.
16. The winner should look to the manufacturers of products awarded as prizes for all warranty claims relating to the Asics prize pack.
17. In the event that any prize item is unavailable despite Athletics Australia's reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, Athletics Australia reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation.
18. The winner agrees to the use of their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that Athletics Australia will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
19. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned however caused beyond the control of Athletics Australia which affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the promotion, Athletics Australia reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. Athletics Australia may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
20. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into Athletics Australia's database. Athletics Australia is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information, however caused. Athletics Australia assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
21. Athletics Australia collects information about you to include you in the promotion and, where appropriate, to award a prize and may also use the information to assist it in improving its goods and services and to contact you, including by electronic communication methods (including email and SMS) in the future with special offers. Athletics Australia may share your information with its Australian related companies who may contact you with special offers. Athletics Australia may also share your information with other persons or entities who assist it in running promotions or with other companies who provide prizes for promotions or reader offers.
