Bio

Based in Sydney’s Inner West, Kel has been coaching endurance athletes and children since October 2016. He has been involved in many other sports including Golf, Rugby League and Union, Cricket, Tennis, Squash, Volleyball, Baseball, Mountain and Road bicycling. He has a passion for running endurance road races having completed Ten Marathons (including the 2018 New York Marathon), seven Half Marathons, 10 City2Surf races, and 135 parkruns. This passion for achieving his best has taken him to some of the most spectacular locations in Australia and throughout the world. Kel continues to participate in events ranging from 800m to Marathon events.

Kel's Coaching Philosophy is to help runners achieve their personal best. He utilises skills he has developed throughout 20+ years in Defence and Law Enforcement, as a personal trainer and as an athlete from multiple disciplines to offer individually tailored training programs and targeted squad sessions, catering for everyone’s goals and lifestyle.

Since becoming a coach Kel has helped athletes of all ages achieve their goals and more. He has helped athletes:

* Run a Sub 2 hour Half Marathon

* Run a Sub 4 hour Marathon

* Complete their first endurance event (half and full marathon)

* Achieve many PBs over various distances from 800m to the Marathon

* Helped athletes qualify for Zone, Regional, State and National Track and Field

Championships and cross-country championships.

* Helped athletes to podium at Zone, Regional, and State Championships for Athletics and Cross-Country.

Kel was a Regional Ambassador for parkrun Australia covering the parkrun events within Sydney and Blue Mountains as well Run West Fun Run in Western Sydney.

Training Fees
$60 per half-hour one-on-one; $60 per month online; and $150 per month for squad training
