When it comes to sport integrity, it is critical that our athletes, coaches, support personnel, leaders and volunteers are aware of their rights and responsibilities and continue to build knowledge in this area. There are a range of tools and resources available to help keep participants informed.
Integrity is more than a word in Australian athletics. It’s how we move forward, together.
Throughout November, Australian Athletics is recognising Athletics Integrity Month, shining a light on the values that underpin our sport, in fairness, respect, safety and trust. From club volunteers to coaches, officials and athletes, everyone has a role to play in building a culture where doing the right thing comes first.
This month, we’re inviting the Australian athletics community to ‘Aim Up’ – a message that reflects our shared commitment to raising the bar, doing the right thing and standing for the values that define Australian athletics.
Across November, Australian Athletics will host a series of free webinars open to the entire Australian athletics community. Two sessions will run each week, one on Monday lunch time and another on Wednesday evening, covering practical topics designed for club administrators, Member Associations, volunteers, coaches and athletes.
For the whole month of November, every Monday at 12:30pm AEDT and Wednesday at 7:00pm AEDT a 1-hour webinar will be delivered by the AA Integrity team. These webinars are open to anyone to attend and will be recorded and made available online for those who are unable to make it. Register via the links below.
Australian Athletics and Sport Integrity Australia annually co-design an education plan to set the required and recommended education modules for various cohorts.
