About the Ethics and Integrity Committee 

The Ethics and Integrity Committee’s purpose is to assist the Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities relating to the integrity and ethics of the organisation and the sport. There are a broad range of matters that either the Board or the

Executive may refer to the Committee, including:

• Policy, education, and reporting requirements in relation to anti-doping, antimatch-fixing, and the organisation’s sports science sports medicine process.
• Anti-illicit drugs and protective measures for the probity of the organisation and the athletes.
• Oversight of the organisation’s member protection matters.
• Australian Athletics’s integrity and ethics framework and rules.
• Organisational issues at an operational level that impact on the organisation’s performance and reputation.
• Other related matters affecting the integrity of the organisation and sport.
