Athletics Australia has long supported unifying athletics into one single body, to provide a clear and logical pathway for all athletics participants throughout their life in the sport.
We are thrilled to see that steps are being taken forward by Athletics NSW and Little Athletics NSW following their announcement today, highlighting their commitment to seeing the sport reach its potential. We would like to congratulate both bodies and we look forward to seeing the development of a seamless link between grassroots and elite athletics throughout the state.
