This version is stable and will only be changed based on final entries.
Any changes are only expected to be within the same day.
When arranging travel, we suggest to allow for the real possibility of events moving within the same day, earlier or later, possibility significantly.

Entries
Domestic Entries: All domestic entries are submitted via the State/Territory Associations. Please contact your state if you have questions.
International Entries: These will be accepted from all World Athletics Member Federation athletes. All athletes (other than from NZL), will need to provide a clearance from from their Member Federation.

What is New ?
The use of preliminary qualification round has been extended for 2026.
In 2026 the qualifying standards for open have been lowered in the 400m, 800m and 400m Hurdles.
There will be three rounds of competition in each of these events, Preliminary Round, First Round and Final.
Approximately 15 athletes will be seeded into the First Round with the remainder all contesting the Preliminary Round. Approximately 12 athletes will progress from the Preliminary Round to the First Round (assumes 9 lanes)
