The 2026 Oceania Athletics Championships will take place in Darwin, Australia on 18-23 May 2026.
The Open team will be operated by Australian Athletics, while the U18 team will be run by Queensland Athletics.

Selection Policy
The selection policies for the Open able-bodied team, and the U18 able-bodied team were published on 8 September, 2025 and can be accessed below alongside the Selection Appeals Process document.
The policy document outlines all the relevant information for selection on this team. If you have any questions after reading the document, they must be addressed to the Chair of the Selection Panel via email.
We are yet to receive finalised information from the Oceania Athletics Association regarding the Para Athletes opportunities at these Oceania Championships. We will release that information as soon as we can, once it's received.

Nominations for the able-bodied team are now available on this page below. They will close at 5:00pm AEDT on 1 April, 2026. Late nominations may not be accepted.
