Steve Solomon: Making an Individual Olympic final at just 19 years of age gives Steve the nod as the best sprinter, male or female, of the past decade. Add to that his Bronze medal at the World Juniors just prior, his recent national Indoor 400m record, Commonwealth Games final and 5 national titles. All this by the age of 24.
Josh Ross: With a PB of 10.08 (+1.9) and no less than 9 national titles (7 over the 100m and 2 over he 200m), Josh ‘The Boss’ Ross has been our best 100m sprinter over the past decade. He has also been prominent in the professional ranks, winning the StawellGift twice, the Bay Sheffield once and the Burnie Gift once.
Sean Wroe: There could be a strong argument for Sean to be at Number 1 with his performances on the international stage. He has won gold in the 400m at the World University Games, silver in the 400m at the Commonwealth Games, gold in the 4×400 at the Commonwealth Games and bronze in the 4x400m at the World Champs as well as an Olympic Final in the 4x400m. Add to this 3 national titles (2 in the 400m, 1 in the 200m), and it is a very impressive CV.
