Kelsey-Lee Barber (64.74 – javelin) and Brandon Starc (2.30m – high jump) have both finished in second place in the Diamond League Final in Zurich.

They both will come home with $20,000 USD in prize money. 

Kelsey-Lee threw the javelin 64.74m in the fourth round, with the winner Huihui Lyu (China) hurling it 66.88 in the same round to win the competition.

In the men’s high jump – Brandon Starc had the near perfect card to get second place clearing an equal seasons best of 2.30m. He cleared every height with his first jump (up to 2:32m):

Linden Hall ran a seasons best time of 4:04.22 in the 1500m, she finished in 10th with the winner Sifan Hassan finishing in 3:57.08.

Brandon Starc – HJ: 2nd, 2.30m

Eliza Ault Connell – 3000m Wheelchair Pursuit: 8th, 6:15.04

Linden Hall – 1500m: 10th, 4:04.22 (SB)

Stewart McSweyn – 5000m: 13th, 13:32.33
