Australian Athletics acknowledges the outcome of the Sport Integrity Australia investigation regarding Chloe Mannix-Power and confirms the completion of her suspension for the presence and use of a prohibited substance.

The sample was collected under the authority of Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) National Championships in April 2025, which returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for Benzoylecgonine (metabolite of Cocaine).  The matter was managed by SLSA and SIA in accordance with the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy and the World Anti-Doping Code.

While the test was undertaken in another sport, Mannix-Power is registered with Australian Athletics. Mannix-Power accepted the sanction, resulting in a three-month period of ineligibility for all sports from 9 May – 9 August 2025.

Australian Athletics strongly condemns the use of performance-enhancing substances and remains committed to clean sport. We work in partnership with SIA to promote a fair and safe environment for all athletes, including delivering education and prevention programs at all levels of the sport.
