T53

Limb Impaired- compete seated

T53 is for wheelchair track athletes who have movement affected to a high degree in the trunk and legs.

These athletes generate power solely from the arms and shoulders and have to stop pushing when using the compensator; the device which controls the steering of the front wheel for the bend.
