In her teens, Sarah Edmiston was a talented hammer thrower, holding the state record, though a water skiing accident postponed Sarah’s blossoming career.

Making her Team Australia debut at the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships, Sarah first started Little Athletics when she was six years old. Sarah’s husband Paul, is a three-time national 110m hurdles medallist. Sarah’s hobbies include gardening and she names her husband and her children as the biggest influence in her life.
