Canberra-based Augustine Nketia Junior was been a star junior sprinter in Australia. Aged 18 in 2021, he won the Australian junior 400m title clocking 47.58. In his first year as a senior athlete in 2023, he would lower his PB, taking it down to 46.90 as he placed 4th in the Australian championship. He made more progress in 2025, reducing his best time on three occasions landing at 46.19 and 5th place at the Australian Championships.
In May 2025 he made his debut at the World Relays. He helped the Australian 4x400m team qualify for Tokyo, running in the heats.
