Entries are via State Associations.
Each state can enter six men and six women into the event (in addition to any athletes who may have entered themselves). State entries do not incur any entry charges.
Selected state team athletes who meet the event’s seeded (elite) half marathon qualifying times (sub 1:05:30 men and sub 1:17:30 women recorded since 1 January, 2025) will be allocated a seeded (elite) start place. Additional selected state team athletes who do not meet this criteria will be allocated a priority (sub-elite) start place.
Medals will be awarded to the first three registered men and first three registered women in the event.
