Athletics Australia is excited to share the announcement of the Seven Network’s coverage plan for the upcoming 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai.
For the first time, Australian audiences will have the chance to cheer on the Australian team of 35 athletes live and exclusively on 7PLUS, as well as watch the daily highlights on 7TWO from the World Para Athletics Championships, held in Dubai from November 7-15.
CEO Athletics Australia Darren Gocher said that the announcement was great recognition.
“Channel Seven’s ground breaking coverage of the Championships is fantastic recognition for the sensational athletes that are going to wear the green and gold,” Mr Gocher said.
“Not only will it allow the Australian public to see our athletes shine on the global stage, it will also give audiences a sense of familiarity with the athletes in the lead up to Tokyo 2020,” he added.
