Due to the continued challenges surrounding COVID-19, Athletics Australia regrets to advise that the 2021 Australian All Schools Championships and National Nitro Schools Final have been cancelled.

Both events, which collectively attract 1400 secondary school students each year, were due to be held on the first weekend of December in Adelaide, but will no longer take place due to travel restrictions hindering the attendance of participants.

Athletics Australia CEO Peter Bromley said: “It is with much disappointment that we make this announcement, however in this current climate, we have had little choice but to cancel our second consecutive Australian All Schools Championships and National Nitro School Final."

“We’d like to thank schools around the country, along with their students, coaches, teachers and families for their patience and understanding and we look forward to providing more opportunities for students to compete again in 2022.”

Athletics Australia would like encourage all individuals to consult with their local GP regarding their eligibility for vaccination.
