Coles Little Athletics Australia are proud to announce the newest Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships Trophy – 𝐌𝐚𝐱𝐒𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐑𝐲 πŸ†
Awarded to the State/Territory Association Team with the highest points adjusted score in the U15 age group.

Maxine began her Little Athletics journey as a parent helper at the Northern Districts Little Athletics Club WA in 1971. Where she held the positions of registrar, treasurer, records and ranking officer and Team Manageress; in addition to assisting with Centre coaching.

Known amongst the Little Athletics community as a member of the Purple Circle. The group of 3 women, who have given their time and expertise to help make Little Athletics what it is today.

𝐌𝐚𝐱𝐒𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐝 π€πœπ‘π’πžπ―πžπ¦πžπ§π­π¬:

  • Publicity Officer – WALAA Board of Management (1976)
  • Registrar – WALAA (1977 – 1983)
  • Secretary – WALAA (1983 – 1994)
  • Est. International Competition in Little Athletics with Team Singapore & Kuala Kumpur Little Athletes competing each year at the WA State Championships (Est. 1986)
  • Life Membership of WALAA (1989)
  • Administrator/Finance Director – Little Athletics Australia (1996 – 2002)
  • Australian Sports Medal (2000)
  • First female to be awarded Life Membership of Little Athletics Australia (2002)
