Coles is already “delivering” on its partnership extension with Athletics Australia, sending hampers and vouchers to 200 athletes and coaches across the country.

The hampers, generously gifted by Coles, include a voucher along with an array of top-quality ingredients and customised Coles athletics bibs, demonstrating their commitment to going above and beyond for the Australian athletics community.

World champion Kelsey-Lee Barber said the hamper was a welcomed surprise, and she was grateful for Coles’ continued support.

"Coles have been great supporters of Australian athletics over the last three years and this gesture really shows their commitment to our sport and our athletes, especially in what has been a tough year for everyone,” Barber said.

The hampers were tailored to the nutritional needs of athletes, with Australian discus thrower Matthew Denny stating:

"Nutrition is so important for us as athletes so the hamper Coles provided was awesome,” he said.

“From fuelling Olympians and Paralympians to supporting Little Athletics Programs, Coles continues to make huge contributions to the Australian athletics community."

Coach Mike Barber was also greatly appreciative of his voucher.

"Athletes and coaches work hard at training and many have commitments off the track as well,” he said.

“Receiving the Coles voucher was a nice surprise to come home to and we thank them for their continued support of our athletes, but also my fellow coaches.

“We can't wait to see what we can all achieve in 2021 together.”

While 200 athletes and coaches were lucky enough to receive a tangible gift from Coles, all members of the Australian athletics community are lucky enough to experience the ongoing support of Coles.
