Former Athletics Australia President and board member, David Grace Q.C. has been appointed to the inaugural IAAF Disciplinary Tribunal.

The appointment was made at the IAAF Council Meeting in Monaco last month. Grace will hold the position until the conclusion of the 2019 IAAF Congress in September 2019.

“The work of the IAAF Disciplinary Tribunal will play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of the sport of athletics in the future,” Grace said.

“It is a great honour for me to be appointed and also reflects highly on the standing of Athletics Australia within the IAAF.”

Grace’s appointment sees him step down from his current position as President of Athletics Australia Tribunals.

Grace was a President of Athletics Australia from 2013 to 2015 and served on the Board of Directors for the maximum of nine years.

Athletics Australia wishes Grace the very best for his future endeavours.
