On the final day of the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019, Brooke Stratton finished in 10th place in the long jump final.

Stratton’s opening jump of 6.46m would be her longest distance, unfortunately it would not be enough to secure a top eight finish and another three jumps, after a second-round foul and third effort of 6.42m.

After running in the fastest qualifying heat in World Championship history yesterday, with a season’s best of 12.98, Michelle Jenneke finished her third straight World Championship semi-final in seventh place, clocking a time of 13:09.

Brianna Beahan went in the last semi-final and finished in seventh place with a time of 13.38.
