Athletics Australia and Athletics International together with Helen Clarke and family invite you to join us for Strawberries & Cream at 2019 ZATOPEK:10 to commemorate the life of Ron Clarke.
Bringing together the athletics family alongside Clarke’s friends and peers, the evening will continue a tradition that began in 1965 when Clarke dined on his favourite dish ahead of his record-breaking world run in the 10,000m in Oslo.
The Ron Clark medal will be presented to the male and female winners of the 2019 Australian 10,000m championships, and we will hear from a recent Athletics International Ron Clark Scholarship recipient. We look forward to welcoming you to the special occasion.
