Chemist Warehouse Australian Cross Country Championships and Mixed Relay Championships
This August, Australian athletics sets it sights on Tasmania, as the country’s most southern state gets set to host an unprecedented Australian Cross Country Championships for all ages, incorporating juniors to elite and through to masters participants.
The 2024 Australian Cross Country Championships is part of the Chemist Warehouse Winter Series and is supported by the Department of State Growth through Events Tasmania.
Date: Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September 2024

Technical Regulations: CLICK HERE (as at 30 July - subject to change)
U23 Championships: Athletes born in 2002, 2003 and 2004) are eligible for U23 medals. Athletes need to enter and compete in the Open age group. This will be caluclated automatically when results are published.
Para Athletes: Para Athletes must have a current provisional or full national classificaiton to enter.

Course Familiarisation: Friday 30 August - 2.00pm - 4.00pm
Shoes: Athletes in the Under 20 and Open age group races should be aware of the World Athletics Shoe rules. Shoes will be spot checked in the Call Room and the end of the race by the appropriate Referee.
Prize Money (Open Men and Women)
There will also be prize money on offer for both the Open Men’s and Open Women’s races. Prize money as follows:

Prize money will be paid following clearance from Sport Integrity Australia.
