NATIONAL CLASSIFICATION CALENDAR

WHO SHOULD ATTEND A NATIONAL LEVEL CLASSIFICATION?

All Athletes with a physical impairment who wish to compete in Athletics - athletes may be new, or may hold a State Level Athletics Classification (Provisional).

OR

Athletes who currently hold a National Level Classification with a "Review" or "Review 2024" status. 

Please Note - New athletes, or athletes that only compete in club, regional or state championship events, can complete a State Level Classification (Provisional). If you require a class for Athletics, please contact our Para Classification Co-ordinator to organise a Provisional Classification- classification@athletics.org.au.  

National Classification opportunities for a Physical Impairment during the 2024/2025 Australian Athletics season willl be listed as they become available. If you wish to obtain a Hearing Impairment, Intellectual Impairment, Visual Impairment or Transplant Impairment Classification please visit the Para-athletics section on the Athletics Australia website. 

Member Associations will accept entries for all National Classification opportunities, apart from the Australian Athletics Championships Classification, this will be administered by Athletics Australia, contact details for each state association are listed below, for all national enquiries please contact Athletics Australia by clicking here.
