The first round of selections were announced on 12 April.
The Para athletes selections were announced on 7 May.
The final round of selections were announced on 22 June. This announcement included names of everyone selected on the team across the three phases. Team Official appointments are also listed in the announcement.
The nomination policy was published on Friday 5 September, 2025 and can be accessed below alongside the Non-Nomination Appeals Process document.

The Australian Athletics Chair of Selectors, Peter Hamilton, hosted an online information session regarding the nomination policy. The session is took place at 8:00pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, 15 October, 2025.
